Being part of the Mass Ducks program has been nothing but a positive experience in every way for my daughter. Her confidence, skill level and knowledge of the game has improved each week. I can not thank the coaches enough for their commitment and love for the game to share with the girls. One BIG THANK YOU! We are looking forward to being part of this program in the future. I feel the ducks are doing a phenomenal job and As far as I can see, THE DUCKS is the top program around...and even that is an understatement. One word, "AWESOME"

- Robyn Nogueira, 5th Grade Parent

Both my daughter and I believe Dan is a fantastic coach. He is very well balanced with being challenging and fun, which is hard to find in a coach. My daughter, my husband and I are very happy she is playing for the Ducks!!!

- Wendy Bickford, 8th Grade Parent

I think this program is excellent for my daughter. Not only did it make her a better all around basketball player it made her a confident 11 year old. My daughter has been getting better grades ever since she started this season it has taught her to focus on the here and now. Thank you for allowing my daughter to be part of an excellent program.

- Monica King, 5th Grade Parent

The coaching and what the Mass Ducks program stands for is phenomenal. The girls have and continue to learn so much; not only to play good basketball, but also good sportsmanship, camaraderie and respect for each other, their opponents, and for their coaching staff. There is not enough "Dan Nortons" out there!

- Elaine Grassa, 7th Grade Parent

This is our first season with the Ducks and it has been a truly great experience for my two daughters.  They have made close friends with their teammates both on and off the court and have wonderful coaches who really know how to focus on developing the girls’ skills in practice and in the games.  I have already seen great improvement in both my girls and their confidence is soaring, which is a testament to the quality of coaching in the Ducks program.  I am so happy to have found the perfect AAU program for my daughters.  Go Ducks!

- Bill Pearlman, 9th and 6th grade Parent

I thought the program was great. The coaches couldn't have been more fair as far as playing time and attention to each player went. They were always patient and never humiliated the players for mistakes. Overall a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend the DUCKS program to others!

- Kellie Pusateri, 7th grade Parent

My daughter told me the She Shoots She Scores Clinic was by far the best that she has attended. She feels she worked harder on her conditioning than at any time in the past and that her core skills improved - especially left handed dribbling.

- Dave Tomer, High School Parent

Dan is an exceptional coach. He teaches the kids effectively without yelling at them and making them feel inferior or inadequate. He is a great teacher, coach & mentor. I have seen improvement with my daughter's skills since she has been playing with Dan. He has taught her some great plays and how to use her talent to the best of her ability.

- Pat Bodin, 8th Grade Parent

The ducks program is a program I can see my daughter participating in until she is out of high school. It has given her the knowledge to be a better player and a team player!! The coaches all are fantastic, they are all so positive with the girls and the kids had a blast even if you were being hard on them. From the start you always looked out for what was best for the player not just the team that truly says a lot about you as a person you do not see that in many coaches. It is a wonderful asset.

- Sara McKay, 5th grade Parent

One of the reasons my daughter loves this team is because of Dan Norton's coaching style. He expects the players to be their best, but his sense of humor and enthusiasm for coaching and the players is always evident. I am confident he knows the strengths and weaknesses of each girl and helps them to improve both at practices and during the games.

- Keith Greenawalt, 8th grade Parent

We have had experience with 2 other AAU programs and this was by far the best experience for both of my girls. Dan has the most wonderful rapport with the 5th grade girls. They felt very comfortable with him but knew that he meant business. He brought out the best in all the girls. From excellence in coaching to organization Mass Ducks are tops!!!!

- Faye Siegel, 8th and 5th Grade Parent

Dan has done an outstanding job developing the Mass Ducks into a great organization. He is a great coach who works so well with the girls. My daughter's skills improve with each season she plays.

- Pam Regan, 8th Grade Parent

I could not of asked for a better coach for my daughter. She responded to Dan very well and my daughter can be difficult sometimes but Dan knew how to deal and redirect her in a positive manner. My daughter's game has improved greatly. Her confidence on the court has shown and I just can't believe how confident she is with the ball now. Dan knows the game very well and proud to say he coached my daughter.

- Monica King, 5th Grade Parent

My wife and I want to thank both of the coaches and the organization for all of your hard work and encouragement that you provided to all of the young ladies. I have watched my daughter grow into a better player and young lady by playing and learning from the Ducks. This is an exceptional organization that comes from the leadership at the top. Well run.

- John Mulcahy, 9th Grade Parent

Great program. My daughter's improvement and confidence level have been amazing as a result of the Ducks in just two seasons with the program, it has been amazing. Can't wait for the next season.

- Robert Lamie, High School Parent

We decided to switch AAU programs this year because both my daughter and I were not happy. Not knowing anything about the Ducks we decided to take a chance and I cannot tell you how pleased we are. Parents and players alike were great and I could see my daughter's confidence and skill grow as the season went on. She was apprehensive about playing after last year but coach Dan was amazing in guiding the girls. His coaching style and personality will keep us coming back for years. Go Ducks!!!!

- Mike McKay, 5th Grade Parent

Our daughter joined the Ducks not knowing a single person on the team. By the time the end of the season rolled around she made (11) very nice young lady friends who just happen to love basketball too. It was a great experience for a 7th grader and we highly recommend the experience! If you are looking for a program who's coaches care and knows what to teach and how to teach it, look no further than the Ducks Program!

- Dan Whyte, 7th Grade Parent

My daughters are in the process of trying out for their Travel team.  I can really see the improvement in their confidence and their game from last year. They got a lot out of their “Ducks” experience.

- Mark Donahoe, 5th Grade Parent

This program helps to develop overall basketball skills, but more importantly helps to develop a sense of teamwork over individual contribution. The girls learn how their overall role contributes to the success of the game plan. My daughter now understands each team members strength and how to work with them to succeed. She understand that there is a strategy. Prior to this, she was merely and individual trying to run to the basket to score.

- Cheryl Mahoney, 8th Grade Parent

Our Daughter has improved so much from the Fall season to the Spring season with the Ducks. We are very excited for the next Fall season to start up!!!!!We are very Thankful to the Ducks, for bringing out the best in her basketball skills and sportsmanship. WE all have made some wonderful new friends. The Mass Ducks is a great program for all girls. Thanks to Coach Dan and staff.

- Eileen McDonnell, 7th Grade Parent

The Mass Ducks was a phenomenal experience for my girls. The emphasis on improving their individual skills as well as incorporating all their improving talents in a team concept was fantastic. Additionally, all the games were within an hour or so from home, which made it great for minimal travelling.

- Anonymous, 8th and 5th Grade Parent

I have never witnessed such drive in a coach and a program to get these girls to play basketball with such expertise. Everywhere we went parents of other teams and other coaches commented on the behavior and the team work and the skill of the girls on this team. My daughter is so happy that she tried out and made this team. She is already sad the season is over.

- Christine Nee, 5th Grade Parent

The Mass Ducks do a fantastic job at both player and team development throughout the year. It is sometimes easy to only focus on winning, but focusing on development while being competitive is difficult, and they do a great job!!!

- Chris Crimi, 7th Grade Parent

One of my favorite things about the Ducks is the emphasis on development since I believe that development and effort are two things that are important throughout life. It is an outstanding message. I also love the agility and strength drills done at practices. My daughter understood what she needed to do to play. There were a few times during games when she was taken out for not boxing out or hustling enough. It was very clear to her why and yet it didn't make her feel badly. Somehow Coach Dan communicates things kids need to work on while not making them feel badly about their skills. For the first time ever my daughter responded by working harder- working harder for Coach Dan than for any other coach. he is one of the best youth sports coaches I have seen!

- Tamar Davis, 5th Grade Parent

After several years of town travel basketball in the winter, this Spring was our daughter's first venture into AAU basketball. The Ducks program is the best blend of player development and competitiveness available. Organization and coaching are first rate...and without the drama, favoritism and arrogance of some other programs. Our daughter had fun, met new friends and definitely has a lot more game thanks to the Ducks

- Walt Zorkers, 7th Grade Parent

We have enjoyed such a positive experience this year with the Ducks. Last year, with a different program, we could not wait for the season to end. We where all nervous to have our daughter try out for another AAU program but when we found the ducks we said we would give it another try. It was the best decision. Our daughter is still talking about how upset she is that the season is over. She can not wait to go to the clinic and play in the fall!!!

- Sara McKay, 5th grade Parent

Thank you for your interest and support in our daughter as a person as well as a player!

- Mary Ellen Gardiner, 7th Grade Parent

Dan does a great job of teaching the game of basketball while making it fun as well. His dedication to the program was evident in how smooth the season ran regarding practices and tournaments all while juggling his many teams. Keep up the good work.

- Jay Jerahian, 5th Grade Parent

Great experience for our daughter and great coaching.

- Sue Onofrio, High School Parent

My husband and I saw a great improvement with our daughter. She had a great respect for her coach and assistant coach, something she didn't have in the past. The coaches connected with the team and then took them from there. She wanted to learn. They heard the good and the bad. They matured over the past months in so many ways, yet they remained young girls having a lot of fun! We thank you for a great experience!

- Anonymous, 7th Grade Parent

I think your communication and skills with the kids and the parents was exceptional. You kept us informed on schedules for both practices and tourneys which was a big positive. I also think the kids really took away a great deal from your demeanor and sportsmanship.

- Mark Donahoe, 5th Grade Parent

Mass Ducks is a fantastic program for developing skills, team work, and sportsmanship for girls. This program is beneficial, professional, and fun for the girls and their parents.

- Debbie Bonarrigo, 6th Grade Parent

We're looking for an organization where our girls feel comfortable as well as challenged. The Ducks definitely fulfilled that for us.

- Sue Bourikas, 8th and 6th Grade Parent

You have done a great job with the girls. You work them hard and have them in game shape by the time the tournament season starts. There is alway improvement in them by seasons end and usually results in winning seasons. Keep up the good work.

- Kevin Grassa, 7th Grade Parent

The experience my daughter had was beyond our expectations. She has learned so much, and loved every minute of it. Dan was very calm, and encouraging to the girls while they played. He always spoke about winning is nice, but even if you are not wining still work your hardest and do not give up. Courteous to all the refs and very talkative to the parents after the games. I was never the biggest basketball fan and I am now - my daughter has loved it all her life and now claims she wants to make it part of her career.

- Christine Nee, 5th Grade Parent

We couldn't be happier with the program. Our daughter started the season behind her teammates in basketball experience and skills. Her teammates and coaches were so supportive and she improved so much over the course of the season that we were overjoyed. Dan's enthusiasm for the game and love of coaching the girls permeates the entire program. We can't wait for next season.

- Kevin Goyette, 7th Grade Parent

My daughter loved playing for the Ducks. She always knew that her coaches would push her to the maximum of her ability and more! This helped her improve great deal and she looks forward to playing again.

- Christine Erardi, 7th Grade Parent

I think my daughter took everything she learned over the season and put it all together for the last game. I saw so much confidence in her. She seemed to grown so much as a player mentally and physically. Thank you so much for everything you taught her and having faith in all the girls. Coach Dan's accessibility was excellent as well. No matter what time it was you always got back to us right away. You kept us up to date about things going on. And you where just there if we need to talk about our daughter.

- Sara McKay, 5th grade Parent

My daughter had a great experience playing for the Ducks. The coaches were just strict enough to keep her head in the game and she felt encouraged to try harder than she ever has. She's excited to continue!

-  Anonymous, 8th Grade Parent

Dan does an excellent job of coaching the girls. I feel my daughter has gained confidence in her abilities this season.

Mary Powers, 8th Grade Parent

This past season was my daughters third season playing for the Mass Ducks. She continues to grow and improve as an overall player. She enjoys the coaching and the team.

- Debbie Powers, High School Parent

My daughter has played AAU for the past 3 years with other programs and I was very pleased with the program and instruction my daughter received with the Ducks. She was challenged to improved and encouraged to try new skills.

- Russ Onofrio, High School Parent

We loved the program! It was very well organized! Our daughter improved her skills more than we could have imagined! Can't wait for next season!

- Donna and Aaron Paul, 6th Grade Parents

The program did what was advertised by learning fundamentals, how to play as a team, and focusing on good sportsmanship. My daughter was fortunate to play for the Ducks this spring. She was excited for every practice and game. The program and coaching offered is everything my husband and I want in a youth sports program for our daughter.

Tamar Davis, 5th Grade Parent

My daughter had an excellent experience for her first year in AAU with the Ducks. She learned a lot, has a lot to work on and cannot wait to continue.

- Vanessa Kenefick, 6th Grade Parent

My daughter stayed dedicated, worked hard, and had a lot of fun. I never once had to ask her twice to get ready for ducks practices or games! My daughter has definitely grown as a player and has developed more confidence.

- Robyn Nogueira, 5th Grade Parent

Great experience. My daughter is disappointed the season is over!

- Steve Regan, 8th Grade Parent

Keep up the great work. The program was positive, with high energy and it promoted player development at the expense of winning. I got the impression that some of the other programs focused more on winning than development.

- Alison and Ned Corcoran, 6th Grade Parents

Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity that you provided for my daughter. She has improved greatly and looks forward to playing for the DUCKS again. She has made so many new friends and hopes to play with these girls for a long time. Your professionalism in coaching, teaching, training will stay with her a long time. She is already missing her friends, coaches, games and practices.
Thank you again.

Christine Nee, 5th Grade Parent

My daughters have had a wonderful experience playing on the Mass Ducks. Dan and Julianna are personable coaches who connect well with the players and parents. They have created a positive team atmosphere and their coaching style has been very beneficial. They give my daughters encouragement and individual instruction which has greatly helped to foster their confidence and improve their level of play. - Go Ducks!!

- Beth Peterson, 12U Parent

If your daughter doesn't come out of this program in great shape, with better skills, more confidence and new friends, then she must have went to the program next door... Highly recommend...

- John Bodin, 8th grade Parent

My daughter has played basketball since she was 6 years old and this was the best and most enjoyable experiences she's had. Thanks guys can't wait for spring season

- Jane Lamie, High School Parent

Coaching is an extremely important part of players development in any sport. You need to take the time to teach the fundamentals while developing a player to ultimately win the game you are playing.  Dan and Julianna take the time to teach the fundamentals and help the players to understand, learn, and have fun. They are committed to what they are trying to do and I personally could not be happier to have my daughter as a part of their team.

- Chris Crimi, 12U parent

Dan has the ability to motivate, encourage and drive the girls to be the best they can be

- Elaine Grassa, 7th/8th Grade Parent

It has been a very positive experience. In all our years as basketball parents, never have we been as impressed by the dedication of the coaches. The fall season just ended and our daughter can't wait for the spring season to begin.

- Chris and Lisa Bulger, 8th/9th Grade Parent

This is a very good experience for kids to try out for a competitive and challenging team for when they get older and it is sooooooo much fun !!!!!!!!

- Grace Gardiner, 7th Grade Player

I want you to know that our daughter has truly enjoyed not only being part of the team, but also the dynamics of this team. She wants to be a better player and you both are definitely helping her! Also, she has made some great friends as there is a nice mix of girls. She truly has benefited from your coaching and skill sessions. She and we have enjoyed this season and look forward to hearing what else is planned for the Ducks in the future.

- Dianne Higgins, 12U Parent

I love the Mass Ducks coaches and enjoy playing for the mass ducks. I also feel that my skills have gotten better since I started the team. Practices are always fun and the coaches give the players encouraging feedback. I have had a wonderful experience playing for the ducks and can't wait for the spring season!

- Nicole Peterson, 8th grade player

My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed playing AAU basketball. She has come a long way since her first game. Her enthusiasm and her willingness to work hard to improve, is a direct result of Dan and his unique coaching style. We look forward to the Spring AAU.

- Elaine Grassa, 7th/8th Grade Parent

Joining the Mass Ducks was just about the most positive thing we've ever done for our daughter. Her confidence in herself and in her ability to try new things increased tremendously.

- Mary Ellen Gardiner, 7th/8th Grade Parent

Because of you two coaches, I have been so pleased with my daughter's experience with the Ducks. The quality of your instruction and guidance during practice and games isn't something we've experienced before. The reason we decided to go the AAU route is just that... quality coaching and instruction and objective evaluation.

The dynamics of a bunch of 12 year olds really changes when they are inspired by coaches who are passionate about the game - not just the winning of games, but teaching it. You two bring basketball to a different level with the girls - and that shows on the court every week. I also appreciate your accessibility as a coach. You are exactly what parents are looking for : )

- Jenn Dagesse, 12U Parent

The Mass Ducks Fall Season has been an exceptionally positive experience for my daughter. She has grown tremendously as a player through all of the practice and game experience and also from having many other talented players as teammates around her. Not only did she benefit on the court, but she also forged many new friendships. This is a terrific way to prepare for the travel season. I would highly recommend the program.

- Cindy Kearney, 7th/8th Grade Parent

My daughter played in her summer league game after playing AAU with the Ducks and she was much better than before the AAU season. She has improved greatly as a result of the Ducks and it showed when she was playing.

- Debbie Powers, High School Level Parent

You do an excellent job meeting each girl where she is in her development and helping her along to the next level of skill. Our daughter has learned A LOT from you. You both work hard and set a good example for the girls about dedication. We want to thank you very much.

- Stacey & Robert Genduso, 12U Parents

What a wonderful experience this team was for the whole family !!! It was fabulous to have our daughter playing with such nice, and talented girls who always gave support to each other on win, loss, injury, great try and "high fives" on super plays and team work.
We so enjoyed meeting and making friends with the players and families from the surrounding towns. Our best to Coach Dan and his father for all the experiences they have shared with their Ducks Team ! Thank you !

- Eileen McDonnell, 7th/8th Grade Parent

My daughter’s travel coach said she can really see an improvement in her since she starting playing AAU with the Ducks! She asked if the Mass Ducks directors had any clinics she could recommend to her other players.

- Anonymous, 12U Parent

The tournament schedule has been well organized with a good balance of local tournaments and colleges that could be of interest to the players in the area. The team fee is very reasonable with very little extra cost and optional extra apparel purchase.

- Anonymous, High School level Parent

With you both instructing, both my husband and I feel our daughter has an exceptional opportunity to learn from people who really "know" the game : )

- Jenn Dagesse, 12U Parent

Thank you Dan and Bob for all your hard work with the girls this season. You managed to find the elusive balance between working hard and having fun! After six weeks with you, my daughter is in the best shape of her life and looking for more. I'm very impressed with the way the girls came together as a team but, as importantly, how they came together as friends in such a short amount of time. It may have been the boxing out drill.. :) Thanks for a winning season!

- Sarah Titus, 7th/8th Grade Parent

Thank you for thinking of the mother's and giving us all roses for Mother's Day. That was very thoughtful of you both.

- Anonymous, 12U Parent

My daughter is having lots of fun playing on the team. She is also learning and improving and is looking forward to attending summer clinics with you guys again. Thanks for coaching her so well.

Betty Dillon, 12U Parent

Practices are fun and fast moving with emphasis on improvement both individually and as a team in a challenging but supportive environment.

- Anonymous, High School Level Parent

My daughter needs to improve her shooting and dribbling and you two are doing a wonderful job teaching her. The practices are great and you two are doing a great job!!!!

- Chris Crimi, 12U Parent

Our daughter is loving this experience with your team. She was thrilled when you had an extra practice last week and she is really having a lot of fun, she's learning and happy to have really qualified coaches. You are doing a great job, your knowledge of the game and coaching abilities are obvious. The girls really listen and learn from you, and that is the most important thing.

- Anonymous, 12U Parent

You are both great teachers and role models for all the girls. They are definitely learning and getting better. We plan to be around for awhile. : )

-Jenn Dagesse, 12U Parent

I am impressed with my daughter’s development and I think she is definitely learning a lot from the two of you during practice and games. The two of you are doing a great job!

- Anonymous, High School Level Parent

The significant focus the Mass Ducks coaches place on the fundamentals and skills is easily seen in the improvement in each player.

- Anonymous, High School Level Parent

We very much appreciate your generosity of time and spirit. You are dedicated to this program and the girls in it.

- Stacey & Robert Genduso, 12U Parent

Our daughter is really enjoying playing on the Ducks AAU team. She has nothing but great things to say about both of you. She is very much a "people person" and for her it's so important that she feel a connection with the coaches and the other players. I think she has found that in your team and that's one of the reasons she likes it so much.

- Maureen Gemma, 12U Parent

My daughter enjoys  the fact that you both are professional and unbiased coaches. For the 1st time she has coaches who  do not play favorites and she has learned more from the two of you in one year than she has learned from many coaches in the last several years.

- Anonymous, 12U Parent

It does not matter if they win or lose, both our daughters love playing for Dan and Julianna and are having a lot of fun. They tell me over and over how much they love playing on the Ducks team.

- Beth Peterson, 12U Parent
